From the post card TC Energy sent out:

The Environment Office of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation (SON) will provide an update on engagement with TC Energy to date, followed by an overview presentation on the project by TC Energy with a focus on the significant redesign that followed engineering field studies and, more importantly, feedback from the SON communities and the public received over  the past year. After the presentation, the Environment Office will moderate a Q&A session where representatives from TC Energy will be available to answer your questions.

TC Energy is in the early stages of determining if a Pumped Storage Project can be developed on the  army’s 4th Canadian Division Training Centre, in the Municipality of Meaford. The proposed project would provide 1,000 MW of flexible, clean energy to Ontario’s electricity system using a technology known as pumped storage. The project will be subject to federal and provincial environmental impact assessments. The Environment Office and Joint Council are working with TC Energy to ensure that SON’s rights, interests and concerns are fully understood and addressed throughout the process.
